HERE IS WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF THE BISCUITS:

WE ASKED FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND THEY WERE GREAT!  ( WE WILL USE THE INITIALS OF THE BISCUITS THAT ARE BEING COMMENTED ON)

We normally do not publish negative comments, but the Long Shot was so polarizing... we couldn't resist mixing a few of those in here.

PDA:  Love the surprising flavor combos in the chocolate lime.
VBC:  Just beautiful.
LS:  A very BRAVE recipe.  Even if it is a little overwhelming
PDA:  Loving the lime fluff and the biscuit has a nice bite from the chili.  Perfect aftertaste!
LS:  An unlikely, yet quite harmonious marriage.
VBC:  Perfect amount of sweet and tart!
M:  I've never had a mexican - style biscuit.  I could eat a whole meal consisting of this.
PDA:  Love the spice of this!
M: *Yum yum yum*
VBC: The subtle bourbon flavors played wonderfully with the vanilla and lemon
LS:  Who is this Mike guy?  Is he single? <3 <3 <3  (for the record... he is totally taken!)
VBC:  Oh Yeah Yeah!
M:  Wakes up your mouth while your tongue does a the happy dance.
PDA: I could taste distinct flavors.  The tart of the lime, sweet earthy chocolate then the heat of the chili!
LS:  The texture of the sardine biscuit was perfect and the level of saltiness was divine!
M:  YAAAAAASSsSSS!
VBC: Perfection!
PDA: Hands down Delicious -  loved the combo of flavors!
LS:  The melding of saltiness of the sardine, olive, zapps, & Capers was perfect--one did not over power the other.
M:  bright pops of tomato & just the right amount of spice.
VBC:  Anything w/ bourbon is automatically better!  Amazing job!  Moist and the vanilla fluff compliments the biscuit perfectly!
PDA: Cool spicy/sweet combo.
M:  This corn bread just broke the "side" mold!  Taste like the old west (the good parts)
LS:  I really dislike sardines but the capers & other stuff camo-ed it well.
M:  This may be corny but it stood out in its field.
LS:  There is something fishy about this.
M.  It was an a-corn-mplished biscuit.
VBC:  The bourbon soaked cherries revive my alcoholism.  Thank you
VBC: Always choose alcohol!
M: BOMB
VBC:  A little swag on the pallet with some notes of baller sauce.
LS:  So much good in a biscuit!
VBC:  This biscuit reminds me of cherry garcia ice-cream.  So good.
M: Sweet and salty! The Sun dried tomatoes are my favorite part about it.
PDA: Very pleasant!  Hidden fun!  I like the sneaky heat.  All the flavors work well with each other.
PDA:  I'm a sucker for chocolate.  The chili had a nice refreshing punch.
M: My favorite through out the tournament so far.
LS:  From memory, it is the worst flavor I have ever had in my mouth, including the 1/2 worm I ate in a boiled peanut!  No! Mike, No!
LS:  Josh aint right! :(  (who's josh?, his name is mike? or is it?)
PDA:  I usually don't like chili in chocolate, but this biscuit;s flavors are so well done.
VBC:  The vanilla, cherry and lemon are just lovely together
VBC:  Brings me back to NOLA days!
LS:  It actually made me gag!  The worst flavor i've ever attempted to eat.  I feel sorry for the prep team that had to touch and smell those nasty fish!
LS: This biscuit had a seafood taste that i loved and the Voodoo chips definitely made it for me.
VBC:  Lovely fresh taste and the slight hint of lemon really had me sold.
LS:  It really did seem like a long shot that I would choose this biscuit, but the taste was so unique, I was undoubtedly swayed by the end of it!
LS:  3 different flavors all hit me in perfect harmony.  Capers/mayo initially peaking with sardines and tapering off with olive!
M:  Delicious!  No more sardines -  ever -  Please!
LS:  I feel like I was transported to england for some fish n chips!  Funky & Delicious!
LS: A lot of complex flavors to offer.
VBC:  Bourbon cherries, Yum!
LS: The worst thing Ive put into my mouth since last weekend.  Don't want to do that again!
