SWEET POSSUM (SP) by Claire Burkett: Brown Sugar Sweet Potato Biscuit with Marshmallow Fluff & Honey Butter

JUST CHAI ME (JCM) by Christi Hardy: Chai Spiced Biscuit with Chai Soaked Apples, Vanilla Fluff & Pecan Crumbles
On the savory side of the competition:
FRITO PIE (FP) by Jay Meadows: Cheesy Corn Biscuit with Chili Fluff, Cheddar & Fritos
vs.
SWEET HEAT (SH) by Summer Bat: Sweet Potato & Jalapeño Biscuit with Chili Goat Fluff & Mango
SH: Had a wonderful hint of spice and spread evened it out.
JCM: Balanced, Subtle and Oh! So Good!
FP: A Spanish party in your mouth!
SH: The slight bite of thejalapeno was countered nicely by the tangy mayo and the sweet potato conversed perfectly with the chili goat! A taste-bud bonanza!
JCM: Love the hints of spice in the biscuit, but the chai soaked apples are what took it over the top!
FP: The corn in the biscuit added a unique texture & taste. Love the crunch of the fritos on top!
SH: Im not a fan of a lot of heat but the Sweet Heat was the perfect amount to make it interesting and the Mango Set it off perfectly
FP: Very warm and inviting. It tastes like the taco soup mom used to make.
SH: The perfect bite!
SP: Great combination of flavors! Nice FALL biscuit
FP: All the best flavors!
JCM: the fluff hast the right hint of tartness to complement the sweet
SP: The marshmallow fluff and honey butter combo is amazing
