SEMI-FINAL BISCUIT TOURNAMENT RESULTS ARE IN!

This race was so close we had to count 6 times.  6 TIMES.  It makes us nervous, but the Biscuit eaters have spoken!

On the sweet side of the competition:  

BLUEBERRY CAKE DONUT (BCD) by Susannah Snyder: Blueberry Lemon Biscuit with lemon fluff and powdered sugar snow
VS
ROSEMARY STRAWBERRY (RS) by Melissa Johnson: Sweet Rosemary Biscuit with balsamic strawberries, honey fluff and crystalized ginger

On the savory side of the competition:  

GREMOLATA LIKE IT (GLI) by Barbara Goosetree: Garlic sweet potato biscuit with feta fluff and lemon garlic oil
VS
GULF COAST COWBOY (GCC) by Bryan Ashmore: Spinach, artichoke and parmesan biscuit with ranch fluff

 

HERE IS WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF THE BISCUITS:  

WE ASKED FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND THEY WERE GREAT!  ( WE WILL USE THE INITIALS OF THE BISCUITS THAT ARE BEING COMMENTED ON)

GLI:Garlic is AMAZING!

BCD: Because because because because.......of the wonderful things it does! Homey, earthy and oh so delicious!

GCC: It was like eating spinach dip in the biscuit form

RS: Each bite is a different experience!

BCD: Delish! I could eat 10!

GCC: Amazing, so much flavor in such a small bite!

RS: Crystalized ginger was the bomb! put it on everything!

RS: Stoooooopid good

GLI: This is in my to 3 favorite savvy biscuits. EVER

BCD: Classic

GCC: Love the ranch fluff

RS: Rosemary gives sweet biscuit extra punch

GCC: Hardest decision of my life

GLI: SO MUCH FLAVOR!

BCD: WHOOP WHOOP! Not too sweet! just right!

GCC: Artichoke was light with the spinach adding a great flavor punch, parmesan and ranch gave just enough kick to add the savory taste I was looking for

RS: Strawberries and honey fluff married so well with the rosemary. Ginger gave a freshness to it with just that measure of sweet.

GLI: The feta fluff was to die for! 

BCD: I loved the blueberry lemon combo!
