Biscuit Tournament 2016!!! Round 3!

CAN WE START THIS POST OFF WITH A STANDING OVATION!!!!!! The votes were so close, because the biscuits were all amazing!!!!

 

In the savory side of the competition:  

CHEESEBURGER (CB):  Cheddar cheese and dill pickle biscuit filled with caramelized onions and ketchupy mustard sauce by Jay Meadows.
VS
MEXICAN TRUMPS HATE(MTH): Mexican cornbread biscuit filled with roasted poblano peppers and mexican fluff by Sarah Reese.

In the sweet side of the competition:  

BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS (BOC): Sweet oat biscuit with chocolate fluff, muesli, and dried banana chips by Deb Alexander.
VS
HUMMINGBIRD(HB): Mexican cornbread biscuit filled with roasted poblano peppers and mexican fluff by Sarah Reese.

Here is what you thought of the biscuits:  

WE ASKED FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND THEY WERE GREAT!  ( I WILL USE THE INITIALS OF THE BISCUITS THAT ARE BEING COMMENTED ON)

CB: The illusion of the "cheeseburger" was masterful!  If i didn't know you couldn't cook meat here, I would swear it was in there!

BOC: Is it Cheesy to say foodgasm? I don't care!  FOODGASM! 

CB: Legit levitated out of my chair.

HB: I just wanted more of the hummingbird.  Love the name too! 

HB: Great blend of flavors.  The pineapple jumps out in the beginning then slowly the banana & toasted pecan finishes the bite.  

CB: Great biscuits once again.  I'm choosing "cheeseburger" because the bites were unpredictable.  Jimmy Buffett would eat one too!

HB: Float like a hummingbird, sting like the fact that I ate all my biscuit and need more.

MTH could really trump hate.  Everyone in the world needs this biscuit for us to have world peace.  

BOC brings back memories of tracking through Europe.  Hearty -  packed full of energy.  CLIMB EVERY MOUNTAIN! 

HB Lovely, lightly sweet with a lovely pineapple ending.  

CB is zesty - wakes up tastebuds & ends in sweet bliss

MTH: hands down the MEXICAN!  and extra points for the name!

BOC will be the Champion!

MTH trumps everything!  Love me some poblano peppers!

HB: Toasted pecans light up my life.  Who knew banana and pineapple would be so good together. 

MTH: Okay, roastedpoblanos. You can't beat that!  #imwithher

BOC; Crunchy goodness.

CB: Nailed it!

HBThe taste of those toasted pecans really made the hummingbird stand out!

CB: Cheeburger cheeburger! I need more cheeburger!

HB had my tastebuds a flutter!

CB: You had me at dill pickles! So good!
