Biscuit Tournament 2017! Round 2!
WOW! This week was so dynamic and the competition was so close.
In the sweet side of the competition:
AFTERNOON DELIGHT (AD): Strawberry & citrus biscuit with rainbow sherbet by Natalea Thomson
VS
CEREAL KILLER (CK): Cheerios biscuit with bananas and fluff by Dani Bailey
In the savory side of the competition:
BUNDES BISCUIT DEUTSCHLAND (BBD): Sauerkraut biscuit with cocktail weenies and German mustard fluff by Scott Leatherman
VS
LEBANESE MEDLEY (LM): Zatar and olive oil with cucumbers, crushed garlic and yogurt spread by Mary Ann Habeeb.

WE ASKED FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND THEY WERE GREAT! ( I WILL USE THE INITIALS OF THE BISCUITS THAT ARE BEING COMMENTED ON)
LM: So light and fresh! #1
AD: Tastes like Fruity Pebbles! Who doesn't like Fruity Pebbles?
BBD: Mustard fluff might be my new favorite thing. May it rain down from the heavens!
CK: Wonderful! Tastes like banana Cheerios. The fluff is a perfect replacement for the milk. LOL.
LM: Made me feel as if I was i a restaurant with the bread and seasoned olive oil. Captured it perfectly.
LM: I typically hate all things cucumber as it reminds me of the Bath & Bodyworks craze of the 90's. However, this was a wonderful treat without the essence of a grandma with too much perfume.
CK: Tasted like the breakfast of champions! Did I just eat the perfect bowl of cereal?
AD: Fruit Loops in biscuit form-- Amazing!
AD: EXPLOSION of flavors!
LM: Just the right amount of ingredients for the maximum amount of flavor! Very good without being overwhelming! 10/10
AD: The taste of this biscuit stayed with me even as I continued eating the others! Just lovely and so delicious!
BBD: Reminded me of the street market vendors in Wurzberg.
BBD: As a vegetarian, I never thought I would vote for this biscuit. Way to go German!
AD: All the sweetness in the world wrapped into a tiny biscuit. :) <3
BBD: Savory but not too harsh! Gut! Gut! Gut!
AD: as refreshing as a Junior League garden party. Surprisingly yummy blend of flavors in sherbet and biscuit.
BBD: Ach du liebe! Das ist gut!
CK: Loved the soft sweetness! Extra crunchy!
CK: If loving this biscuit is a crime, then I'm guilty as charged!
BBD: Ich bin ein Bundes Biscuit Deutschland!
CK: Dani Banana came in fro the cereal kill! Crushed it!
BBD: Ich liebe alle die keksen!
CK: I love Cheerios and banana, so this was a no brainer!
BBD: My still-living German family (my whole family is German) would be ashamed if I didn't choose this-- literally tasted like Germany in a biscuit!
AD: Delightfully surprised!
LM: One of the best biscuits I have put in my mouth!
CK: The simple flavors really came through and something I would like to have again!
LM: So much fresh flavors and was so unusual and delicious. I would love to see it on the menu.
LM: The crispness of the cucumbers was nice against the fluffy biscuit!
AD: Sherbet on a biscuit?! Well kiss my grits!
CK: This 'ish' is legit. I wanna eat a bowl full in the middle of the night watching some comedy.
