Artist Reception: Anthony DiFatta

We re so excited to have Anthony DiFatta's work hanging and we want you to celebrate with us!

Anthony DiFatta is native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who has recently moved to Ocean Springs with his family.

After a tour with the U.S. Navy in Antarctica he returned to Mississippi to study art at USM, worked as a graphic designer, professional artist, and obtained his teaching license. He worked for over 10 years teaching art to persons with mental illness, addiction, homelessness, and taught high school art for four years. Anthony is currently the Director of Education for the Walter Anderson Museum of Art.

Anthony works in a variety of media, styles, and subject matter. His paintings have been exhibited throughout Mississippi and in New York, Memphis, California, Chicago, Atlanta, Massachusetts, and Louisiana.
